An uncoupling membrane has become a must-have to make heating cable installation easier. Its key purpose is to cut down on
movement between the various materials used in a complete installation. The uncoupling membrane compensates for horizontal movements up to 1/8 in. which in turn protects tiles from cracking and delamination. Best of all, installing the heating cable is a snap!

COMPATIBLE FLOORINGS: Ceramic, porcelain, stone, vinyl, laminated engineered wood

Soft and wood floorings must be installed on a self-leveling underlayment layer of ½ in. on top of the studs.
INSTALLATION: Modified and non-modified mortars can be used as per mortar manufacturer recommendations

Installation over plywood, OSB, concrete, gypsum base and existing vinyl

Installation possible directly over the subfloor (limitations apply)

The membrane does not replace the need for movement joints
