Important safety notice regarding certain Sonoma wall fan heaters

Recently, we have received incident reports related to certain Sonoma wall fan heater models. Under certain abnormal operating conditions it may be possible for the product to overheat and potentially lead to a fire.

Affected models should be disconnected immediately.

The affected products are Sonoma and Sonoma Style units with the following product codes:

The product code can be found on the label that covers two sides of the boxes:

If the product has been installed, the product code and production date can be found on the product nameplate that is on the underside of the front cover.

Only units produced on or before November 18, 2019 are affected by this issue. You can identify the production date in the “VER” field of the product nameplate. The first number is the week of production and the second number is the year of production. In this example the product was produced the 47th week of 2019. Look for a version/production date code of 47-19 or prior, for example, 46-19.
